the dreaded spring break
the kids are stuck in the house
it’s raining. yippee!

will surely go nuts
screaming kids on the warpath
i need an advil

summer approaches
i’m sure it’ll be much worse
at least it’ll be warm

As a kid *I* hated spring break, because I had to go to go to daycare that week.

Great Haiku! Of course as a teacher my poem would be a tad bit different. I need the advil by Friday morning - especially with 22 roudy Kindergarteners!
