Haiku Friday: Farewell Spring Break April 11, 2008
spring break is ending
it has been a long, long week
but it has been fun
loved seeing my kids
even though they drove me nuts
i told you they would
will miss sleeping in
until 8 or 8:30
back to 6AM
farewell to spring break
you certainly will be missed
by my kids, no doubt
as for me, I’m ok
ready for a “normal” week
at least in theory
i know what you mean about getting back to the routine. it’s all great in theory but when it actually has to get done i want to call in help to get it all in motion.
I’m glad you had a good spring break. But I understand wanting to get back to “normal”!
