"I Need to Pee!"

That phrase is heard very often around my house lately.

Emma is now actively potty-training.

And she “needs to pee” all the time.

Every time we go somewhere she “needs to pee” even if she went before we left.

The store.

A restaurant.

Outdoors.

She isn’t quiet about it either.

She will shout it out, any time, any place.

The child has no shame.

Last night we had a new scenario.

I was lying in bed, just about asleep, when I heard Emma in the baby monitor:

“Mommy!”

“Mommy!”

“I have to pee!”

Doug was already downstairs, so he took her to bathroom.  Not only was she dry, but she did go!

A new first for her.

I’m so proud.
