What’s on my Tree Wednesday

I assume that this will be the last of WOMTW until next Christmas….

This is Emma’s very first (of many, most likely) handmade ornament. She made it this year at a Christmas Story hour at out local library.

She had tons of fun using the glue and the glitter. She is very proud of this ornament and it took her a long time to pick the “perfect” place on the tree for it.

What’s on My Tree Wednesday

This week I’m paying homage to my favorite decoration: the star.

The star has always been my favorite part of the tree, ever since I was little. It was always magical, the one item that brought the whole tree together.

I bought this star several years ago, when it was just Aaron and me. We had our own tree and decorations and he helped me pick out this star. Every year when I unpack it, I remember our first (and only) Christmas on our own.
